Advance your nursing career in a highly specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered environment and has a passion for delivering top-tier pediatric critical care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in a PICU or comparable pediatric critical care setting
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills specific to infants and children in critical care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced situations and evolving patient needs

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based assignment with variable shifts; flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including assessment, interventions, and continuous monitoring
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and operate advanced life-support equipment
  • Identify and respond rapidly to changing patient conditions
  • Educate and support families, ensuring clear communication about treatment plans and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety
