Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active RN license without restrictions
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, ensuring safety and adherence to high clinical standards
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and execute prescribed treatments and interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients’ families throughout the treatment process
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations and continuously evaluate patient progress
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility procedures
