Qualifications & Skills:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to communicate compassionately with families and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients, adhering to evidence-based protocols
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and infusion devices
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care professionals
• Advocate for patient and family needs, providing emotional support and education
• Accurately document clinical data and interventions in patient records
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations as needed
