Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Demonstrated experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
  • Advanced critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with pediatric patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced clinical environments

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess the condition of patients in the PICU, providing timely and specialized clinical interventions
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated pediatric care
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately
  • Support families through education and emotional reassurance during critical moments
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical education

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
