This 15-bed specialty unit values the synergy of experienced RNs, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case management professionals, offering you daily collaboration with diverse healthcare leaders. The night shift, running from 7 PM to 7 AM, provides a unique opportunity to drive patient outcomes in a learning-rich, fast-paced teaching hospital.
Sharpen your nursing expertise through hands-on experience with advanced monitoring, CRRT, and a variety of acute pediatric procedures using state-of-the-art equipment and EMR technology. Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of current acute care PICU experience
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- CRRT experience and APHON certification highly valued
- Prior experience in pediatric teaching hospitals preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care in a 2:1 patient ratio environment
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech/CPN
