As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will become an essential part of a Level II Trauma center dedicated to innovative pediatric care. The 15-bed PICU provides exposure to advanced equipment, such as general CR monitoring, and diverse, collaborative teams embracing new technologies. This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a teaching hospital alongside intensivists, respiratory therapists, and highly skilled RNs, perfect for professionals eager to broaden their clinical skills and network with experienced healthcare leaders.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent, acute PICU RN experience (hospital setting)
• Active BLS & PALS certifications
• Strong IV, blood draw, and TPT placement skills
• Ability to excel in high-pressure, teaching-focused environments

Preferred Experience:

• CRRT experience
• APHON credentialing
• Previous work in pediatric teaching hospitals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused care in a 2:1 patient-nurse ratio setting
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Perform key procedures (IV starts, blood draws, TPT placements)
• Support ongoing patient and family education
