Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both PICU and PCU settings
- Advanced knowledge of patient monitoring, ventilator management, and assessment in critical care environments
- BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts, with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and adults in both PICU and PCU units
- Perform thorough patient assessments, develop and modify individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapy according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatment, and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established safety and infection control standards
