Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PICU setting
• Proficient in pediatric assessment, patient monitoring, and critical care technology
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with children, families, and the multidisciplinary care team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients within the PICU according to physician orders and evidence-based protocols
• Closely monitor patient status, administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide advanced interventions as needed
• Assess, document, and report changes in patients’ conditions swiftly and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other health professionals for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Support and educate families throughout their child’s hospital stay, offering empathy and clear guidance
• Maintain meticulous, timely medical records and participate in routine safety checks

$2,264 - $2,477/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
