A prominent hospital in Southern Idaho seeks experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is an excellent fit for those dedicated to delivering critical care to children in need, and looking to expand their experience within a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license (must be in good standing)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PICU nursing, including pediatric critical care assessment and intervention
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications
  • Previous experience working in a hospital PICU unit required
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients, monitoring vital signs and managing medication administration
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multi-disciplinary hospital staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate and support patients’ families, providing clear updates and guidance during care
  • Ensure safe and timely documentation of all care provided according to hospital protocols
  • Participate in emergent situations including code response, rapid assessments, and stabilization procedures

Schedule & Hours:

  • 13-week contract assignment
