Registered Nurse - PICU | Meridian, Idaho

An exciting travel contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care (RN-PICU). Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic pediatric critical care environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate specialized equipment according to pediatric protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses within electronic medical records
