Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) in Nampa, ID

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) expertise. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, rotating shifts
• 13-week contract assignment

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience required
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary team setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in caring for pediatric patients with complex medical needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive, family-centered care for patients in the PICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage advanced life support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members
• Educate and support patients’ families throughout the hospitalization process
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Adhere to all hospital safety, infection control, and quality improvement protocols
