Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PICU or pediatric critical care settings
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Strong assessment and clinical skills in acute pediatric settings
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and families
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies and high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, monitoring vital signs and responding quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapies as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support families regarding their child’s condition, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and follow infection control standards
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
