Travel Psychiatric Nurse (RN) - Greensboro, North Carolina

Schedule:

• 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, including weekend rotations

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse; experience in psychiatric/behavioral health or relevant clinical specialties highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and conditions, delivering direct and appropriate nursing care within the assigned psychiatric unit
• Review patient information—medical history, diagnostics, current condition—to develop tailored nursing care plans
• Execute essential nursing processes, including medication administration and treatments, to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and reconcile accurate medical records, upholding regulatory and organizational standards
• Evaluate patient response to interventions, identifying and implementing additional care strategies as necessary
• Collaborate extensively with the interdisciplinary care team for optimal care planning
• Carry out other nursing responsibilities as required
