Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
- Weekend rotation required
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and conditions to ensure each receives the highest standard of psychiatric nursing care
- Analyze medical histories, diagnostics, and present state to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as part of a comprehensive care process
- Reconcile and maintain accurate medical records, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust interventions to meet care objectives
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider required
- Minimum of one year as a registered nurse; one year of clinical specialty experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Familiarity with psychiatric and behavioral health protocols is a plus
