Schedule:

• 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.; rotating weekends

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS (CPR) certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• A minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse; experience in psychiatric/behavioral health settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a behavioral health unit
• Analyze medical histories, diagnostics, and current status to develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Reconcile and update medical records for regulatory compliance and organizational standards
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Perform additional duties as assigned
