Key Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina or compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- A minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse; experience in psychiatric/behavioral health settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a behavioral health unit
- Analyze medical histories, diagnostics, and current status to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
- Reconcile and update medical records for regulatory compliance and organizational standards
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
