Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in psychiatric and behavioral health units
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor patients’ progress, administer psychotropic medications, and manage crisis interventions with compassion and skill
  • Foster a therapeutic and safe environment for patients, families, and staff
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care needs

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or compact state
  • Minimum of one year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; additional psychiatric certifications a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and de-escalation skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, evolving settings
