This opportunity calls for experienced Registered Nurses (RN-Psych) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who are passionate about providing quality psychiatric and behavioral health care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health diagnoses.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and record observations accurately.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs promptly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and ongoing care requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to facility safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation activities as necessary.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatments clearly in compliance with facility standards.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN or LPN license.
  • Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and therapeutic communication.
  • Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong documentation and electronic health record skills.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
