Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health diagnoses.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and record observations accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and ongoing care requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to facility safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation activities as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments clearly in compliance with facility standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN or LPN license.
- Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and therapeutic communication.
- Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong documentation and electronic health record skills.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
