Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
- Proficiency with mental health assessments and crisis intervention techniques

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- BLS certification (required)
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor psychotropic medications per provider orders
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and collaborate on treatment planning
- Support patients with daily living activities, fostering a therapeutic and respectful environment
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and behavioral escalations
- Educate patients and families on coping strategies and medication adherence
- Complete timely and accurate charting in compliance with facility policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care transitions
- Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols
