Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong crisis management and de-escalation techniques
• Ability to provide empathetic care to individuals with diverse mental health needs
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of psychiatric patients
• Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including physicians, social workers, and therapists
• Document patient observations, interventions, and responses using electronic medical records
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual patient education sessions
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and mental health conditions
