Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday shifts based on unit needs

Desired Experience and Certifications:

• Active RN license with minimum 6 months’ experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• BLS certification required
• De-escalation and crisis intervention skills (on-site training provided)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, coordinated care for adolescents (ages 14-18) experiencing psychiatric crises
• Collaborate with MHTs, therapists, case managers, and security to maintain unit safety and milieu control
• Utilize EMR (Cerner) and Omnicell for patient documentation and medication dispensing
• Respond to acute situations using restraint and seclusion protocols as needed
• Float within the pod and occasionally to other child/adult units
