Schedule/Hours:
- 7p–7a night shifts
- Weekend rotation required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse (1 year in psychiatric/clinical specialty preferred)
Experience & Skills:
- Background in psychiatric or behavioral health settings highly valued
- Strong clinical judgment and experience with individualized care plans
- Skilled in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and deliver direct psychiatric nursing care
- Analyze medical history, diagnostics, and current condition for personalized planning
- Administer medications and treatments per nursing process
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical records
- Continuously evaluate patient responses and communicate new interventions as needed
- Participate in collaborative care planning with the care team
- Perform other department duties as assigned
