Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position, full-time hours

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
• Confidence in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention
• Experience adapting to fast-paced, dynamic environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the mental and physical health status of each patient
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with treatment plans
• Administer medications, monitor side effects, and document responses accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Lead or participate in group activities and patient education sessions
• Respond swiftly and effectively to psychiatric emergencies, utilizing de-escalation skills
• Support patients and families through empathetic communication and education
