Expand your clinical abilities in a setting known for its dedicated approach to both long-term and transitional care. You'll work alongside diverse care teams, learn new strategies for supporting residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and refine your skills in geriatric assessment, wound care, IV therapy, and collaborative intervention. Each shift provides new opportunities to learn, whether you’re on the specialized dementia unit, the rehabilitation floor, or the long-term care wing.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexibility to cover all shifts (24/7 environment)
  • Up to three shifts may be canceled per 13-week contract

Key Qualifications:

  • Associates in Nursing required
  • Valid Maine or compact RN license (no licensure hits)
  • 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
  • Background in medical terminology is a plus
  • Robust communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt and float to different units as needed
  • Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the location
  • Previous employees are not eligible for this assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver both direct and indirect care to rehab and long-term care residents
  • Utilize specialized communication techniques with residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia
  • Provide IV therapy, wound care, and comprehensive geriatric management
  • Foster a positive and safe therapeutic environment
  • Collaborate closely with other care team members
