Registered Nurses with experience in Rehabilitation, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), or Long-Term Care are encouraged to consider this travel opportunity in Maryville, TN. Key Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current RN licensure with proven experience in Rehab/LTC or LTAC nursing
- BLS-AHA certification and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification are mandatory
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start of assignment
- Comfortable managing a patient ratio approximately 1:8-10 and working as a float nurse within the unit
- Willingness to work every other weekend or two weekends per month as required
- Flexibility to commit to the no-time-off policy during specified holidays (including Valentine’s Day, local spring break, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, local fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering in the Transitional Care Unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with medical staff and families
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and documentation requirements
- Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance with facility standards
