• Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from day one
• Communicate relevant changes and updates across care providers to ensure continuity and safety
• Provide mentorship and guidance to ancillary staff, supporting a positive team environment
• Contribute to safety initiatives (patient handling, managing infectious disease risks, and minimizing environmental hazards)
