Support student health and well-being in an engaging educational environment by providing skilled nursing care across a diverse school district. This position serves students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, ensuring their medical needs are met with compassion and clinical expertise.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Significant experience caring for pediatric patients with diabetes, including carb counting for children
• Prior experience with school-based nursing preferred
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care certification or hands-on experience highly desirable
• Bilingual abilities considered a strong asset
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including other school nurses
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive nursing support for students with chronic and acute health conditions, focusing on diabetes management and carb counting
• Address daily medical needs, provide medication administration, and respond to emergencies according to established school protocols
• Collaborate seamlessly with school nurses and staff to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Document all assessments, care provided, and student outcomes in compliance with district policies
• Act as a health resource for students, families, and educational personnel

Offered Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, depending on experience and qualifications
