Schedule/Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Demonstrated expertise in diabetes management, including carb counting for children
- Ventilator and tracheostomy certification or experience highly preferred
- Prior experience providing nursing care within a school setting is strongly desired
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver general nursing support across multiple school sites within the district for TK-8 students
- Manage day-to-day care for students with diabetes, including insulin administration and nutritional guidance
- Provide support for students with additional medical needs, following physician and individual care plans
- Conduct routine health assessments and respond to student health concerns and emergencies
- Collaborate with district and school-based nurses, faculty, and staff for optimal student care coordination
- Maintain accurate student health records and ensure compliance with all school health regulations
