Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specific scheduling to be discussed at interview
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license, in good standing
- Recent experience in stepdown, progressive or intermediate care settings
- Strong knowledge of drip titration and acute patient management
- Excellent assessment, time management, and documentation skills
- Ability to float to other departments as needed within the facility
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for progressive care patients
- Perform independent and delegated nursing and medical functions per state standards
- Monitor, review, and document therapy and treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapies to patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult or refer patients for further evaluation as appropriate
- Promote safety and uphold organizational mission, vision, and service standards
- Flex to various departments and participate in on-call rotation if required
