Schedule/Hours:

• Neuro stepdown, 7:00 AM shift
• Weekends required
• No block scheduling

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with an unbroken work history (no gaps >60 days)
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in stepdown or neuro specialties
• Neuro stepdown expertise or strong med/surg background with stepdown exposure
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required in CV)
• ACLS certification
• Epic EMR proficiency (must detail in profile)
• Candidate profile must include: Work history/resume, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, Nursys License Verification, and badge-appropriate picture

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care in a busy neuro stepdown unit, managing complex patient needs
• Assess, monitor, and document neuro status using NIHSS protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality treatment
• Float as needed to related units based on patient needs
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital standards for patient safety and continuous improvement
