Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit preferred
- Proficient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to stepdown unit patients
- Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and detect changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies according to protocols
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members in developing and updating patient care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding care processes and discharge instructions
- Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure adherence to safety policies
