Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible travel nursing assignment (specific schedule discussed upon interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.
• Monitor patients with acute or chronic conditions requiring close observation, including telemetry monitoring and advanced interventions.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and facilitate treatment protocols according to best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team, delivering education and updates as needed.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and adapt to rapidly changing clinical needs.

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or PCU nursing.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Adaptable, positive attitude and commitment to evidence-based care.
