This travel nursing opportunity provides exposure to sophisticated, high-acuity stepdown care in a dynamic setting with a diverse patient population, including respiratory, trauma, renal, and surgical cases. You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced care modalities and work closely with various healthcare professionals, broadening your clinical expertise and strengthening your ability to adapt and lead in multifaceted situations.

Schedule:
• 12-hour night shifts
• Open to 48-hour workweeks (overtime applies after 48 hours)

Your Professional Impact: • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, create and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Deliver advanced nursing interventions, including ventilator and tracheostomy management, high-flow oxygen therapies, and drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone). • Coordinate care transitions with patients, families, and allied services. • Serve as a patient advocate, responding rapidly to changing conditions and supporting patients through critical illness and recovery. • Float to comparable units as needed, expanding your versatility.

Qualifications: • Current RN license (or compact eligibility) • BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required • Strong experience with ventilators (required), insulin drips, and higher acuity PCU/stepdown populations • Minimum one year of acute care RN experience • Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) • Excellent clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork
