This travel opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic Stepdown/PCU setting within a high-acuity neuro and stroke-focused unit. Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Stepdown, PCU, or acute care preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Successful completion of a Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide available)
• Neuro/stroke experience preferred
• Experience with intermediate level cardiac care and drips
• EPIC EHR proficiency (preferred)

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop, implement, and re-evaluate individualized care plans
• Serve as a liaison for care coordination and patient advocacy
• Respond and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Manage patient teaching and discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support patients and families
