Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status and provide care for individuals requiring stepdown services from intensive to intermediate care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with standards of practice and facility policies.
• Uphold infection prevention and safety guidelines to maintain a secure care environment.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Previous experience in a stepdown or similar acute care setting strongly preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• High level of clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
