Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Cherryville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• No call required
• Holiday coverage: work 75% of holidays
• 6-week scheduling cycles
• Up to 6 days of requested time off (excluding holidays, with contract extension for unmet hours)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 18 months PCU RN experience
• Comfortable caring for a variety of diagnoses (CHF, cardiac, stroke, respiratory, metabolic, infectious, and more)
• Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, tracheostomy care, cardiac drips, wound care, central line management, and chest tubes
• EMR: EPIC; Med Dispensing: Omnicell; Monitoring: Phillips

Responsibilities:

• Direct care for stepdown patients with diverse and complex needs
• Patient ratios typically 1:4, occasionally 1:5
• Floating within regional facilities as required, with paid travel time between locations during shifts
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, RTs, hospitalists, and intensivists
• Adhere to unit protocols and support a family-oriented culture
