Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license.

• Demonstrated ability to provide skilled care to patients transitioning from critical care.
• Proficient with cardiac monitoring and post-acute care protocols.
• Collaborative mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and manage patients in a stepdown setting, intervening rapidly when changes occur.
• Implement care plans, administer medications, and ensure all physician orders are carried out accurately.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and interpret vital signs to detect patient changes early.
• Provide ongoing education and emotional support to patients and their families during the recovery process.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress according to regulatory and hospital guidelines.
