Schedule/Hours:
- 12-week assignment
- Day and night shifts available, typical ratios 1:4–5 (days) and 1:5 (nights)
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- Minimum 2 years’ Stepdown/IMCU experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficient with vent management at the IMC level
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
- Completion of Dysrhythmia exam (study guide available)
- Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, HHFNC, and a variety of cardiac drips
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans
- Administer medications and titrate drips as appropriate (Cardizem, Amiodarone, etc.)
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as patient advocate through all levels of care
- Support and educate patients and their families
