Travel PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN) | Damariscotta, Maine

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 6a–6p or 6p–6a
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend (minimum)
• No call requirements
• Occasional float to Medical/Surgical unit

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience
• Proficiency with ventilators and vasoactive drips
• Experience with ventilators, ceiling lifts, plumb pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, SCD boots
• Strong team player with proactive communication and high standards
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience:

• Background in ICU, Stepdown, or Intermediate Care
• Adaptability and composure in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care for diverse SCU/IMC/MS/Swing patients
• Manage 1:1 to 4:1 patient ratios effectively
• Employ critical care skills and evidence-based practices
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
• Occasionally float to the Med/Surg floor as needed
