Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a comparable size PCU, IMCU, or similar environment
• Documented PCU experience in past work history
• Previous work with cardiac patient populations: STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac surgeries, chest pain
• Proficiency in cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• Experience with cardiac monitoring
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Comfort managing ratios of 1:3-4 and lower-acuity telemetry patients

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to intermediate and progressive cardiac patients
• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and critical care technologies
• Perform and document assessments, medication administration, and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and follow physician-driven protocols
• Be adaptable; float to telemetry as needed within the unit
