Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license (active in Ohio or eligible for reciprocity)
• At least one year of recent acute care nursing experience
• Prior experience in stepdown/SDU or critical care environments strongly desired
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced postoperative SDU for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and interpret vital signs
