Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Prior Stepdown or progressive care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS/ACLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and provide skilled nursing services per physician orders and best clinical practice
• Administer medications, perform treatments, educate patients and families, and assist with daily care, transfers, and alarms
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care plans, participating in updates and collaborative care planning
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare guidelines and hospital policies
• Act as a valuable resource, delegating and providing direction to support staff
