Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent Stepdown experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Proven ability to adapt to new environments and quickly integrate with staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused care in the Stepdown unit, monitoring vital signs and responding to clinical changes
• Administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and provide education to patients and families
• Document care and progress clearly and accurately
• Participate in care planning and ongoing patient assessment
• Support care transitions and ensure continuity throughout the patient’s stay
