As a skilled RN specializing in Stepdown care, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing using a comprehensive, relationship-based approach. Your primary focus will be providing age-specific nursing support, guiding patients and their families throughout the care process to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
- Experience in stepdown or progressive care settings preferred
- Adaptability and ability to float to various inpatient departments as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement the nursing process to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans and achieve positive clinical outcomes
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in performing nursing procedures and using medical equipment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care
- Float between inpatient areas as required, including stepdown units, medical/surgical floors, and emergency departments for care of boarded patients
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility-specific protocols and standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to peer learning within the unit
