Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), three shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed (including July 4th)
Qualifications:
- Active KS RN or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS & NIH certification
- Minimum two years recent experience in a Critical Care/ICU setting
- Experience with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, managing chest tubes and PICC lines
- Ready to float as needed to ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED (with relevant background)
- Must be able to handle own codes independently; no vascular access team available
- Epic EMR proficiency preferred
- No new graduates at this time
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Stepdown/PCU unit
- Respond to code situations and manage critical interventions
- Float to varying inpatient units as required
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
