Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Lenexa, KS

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Current experience in Stepdown and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess stepdown/PCU patients, responding to changes in condition and escalating care as needed
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver optimal care
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and response to treatment
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment adhering to hospital protocols and quality standards

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
