Travel Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN) in Lima, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, Weekender only (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)

In this specialized Stepdown RN role, you’ll float between Stepdown, ICU, and MS/Tele units as needed, broadening your clinical perspective while working with a supportive interdisciplinary team. This position is ideal for nurses seeking professional advancement by managing a diverse array of cases—including patients with ventilators, trachs, and drips—while having the chance to reinforce your critical care expertise.

Preferred candidates will demonstrate:

• Active RN license (compact eligible)
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience, with 6+ months in an acute care hospital
• Experience caring for ICU-level patients, ventilators, and trachs
• Previous exposure to cardiac drips, ventilatory support modalities, and post-Cath Lab or CABG patients
• Ability to float between units, adapt to varied patient needs, and collaborate with ICU teams
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Comfort with central lines, chest tubes, PICCs, NG/PEG/J tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Navy blue scrubs required
