Working within a dynamic step-down unit with 16-20 beds and a manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, you'll care for individuals experiencing a variety of complex and rewarding cases, including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, TDM2, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a medical step-down or similar acute care unit
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients with acute/severe medical needs
- Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatment
