Experience hands-on with cardiac drips—including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors—will elevate your clinical expertise. Rotating assignments may include telemetry beds, broadening your skill set in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown or PCU experience at a similarly sized facility
• Expertise in managing cardiac populations, including STEMI, NSTEMI, C/P, and cardiothoracic surgery cases
• Experience administering cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, pressors)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care for progressive care/intermediate unit patients
• Manage patient assignments with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor cardiac status, respond promptly to changes, and accurately document interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based care delivery
• Float to lower acuity telemetry beds as needed within the same unit
