Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and major holidays required

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license (compact accepted if applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EKG proficiency (must pass exam at orientation)
• Lab draw proficiency required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with at least 6 months in acute care preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments, prioritize care needs
• Manage care for cardiac, surgical, renal, and respiratory stepdown patients (includes cardiac drips, BiPAP, insulin drips)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Serve as point of contact for patients and families, providing education and advocacy
• Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions using sound clinical judgment
• Maintain high standards for infection control and patient safety
