Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse | Overland Park, Kansas

This travel RN-Stepdown assignment provides outstanding exposure to diverse clinical environments, ranging from high-acuity Progressive Care units to floating shifts in ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED. Here, you’ll continually refine your nursing practice, collaborate with seasoned leaders, and expand your knowledge base—all attributes that enhance your resume and strengthen your expertise for future career moves.

Schedule & Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed, including July 4th

Qualifications:

• Active KS or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Proficiency with CRRT, Bipaps, lab draws, chest tubes, PICC management
• Confident managing own consults and codes (no vascular access team)
• EPIC EMR familiarity preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Stepdown/PCU patients
• Float to ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED units as assigned per experience
• Handle comprehensive nursing duties, including complex monitoring, intervention, and rapid response
• Attend orientation at varied campuses and complete virtual Epic EMR training
