This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic Neuro Trauma Intermediate/Stepdown unit, caring for patients at an intermediate level of acuity and collaborating with a team committed to clinical excellence. You will gain exposure to a range of complex cases, including neuro, trauma, respiratory distress, and various medical comorbidities, deepening your expertise while expanding your professional network. Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 1900–0700
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekend hours as required
• 13-week contract (with potential for extension)

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS and ACLS from AHA required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient ICU experience; intermediate level ICU/unit background preferred
• Ability to float to critical care or med/surg as needed
• Team player, adaptable to new environments, black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption (Nov 1–Apr 1)

Responsibilities:

• Direct patient care: assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation
• Coordinate with ancillary departments for optimal care and comfort
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights at all times
• Evaluate and oversee care provided by other nurses
• Participate fully in mission, values, and service standards
