Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, vigilant care to patients requiring close monitoring as they stabilize from critical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to execute tailored care plans
- Monitor patient status, recognize early signs of complications, and intervene accordingly
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced nursing procedures as needed
- Educate patients and their families about treatment, recovery, and discharge planning
- Accurately document care, assessments, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
