Key Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (or compact eligible)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 1 year of RN experience; 6 months in acute care preferred
- Neuro/stroke care and intermediate/cardiac experience are a plus
- Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided)
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments, create individualized plans of care, and evaluate outcomes
- Manage complex neuro and cardiac cases, including intermediate-level cardiac drips and stroke interventions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and act as a patient and family advocate
- Serve as a point of contact for care coordination throughout the hospital
- Ensure safe administration of medications and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality
