Travel Stepdown RN - Shelby, North Carolina

Expand your resume through hands-on experience with a variety of complex medical conditions—without the need for mechanical ventilation—such as CHF, dysrhythmias, strokes, abdominal infections, and more. The facility features advanced technology, including EPIC EMR, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors, with round-the-clock access to RT, hospitalist, and intensivist services.

Schedule & Hours

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend required
• Possibility of low census call; may be called back up to 3 a.m. for nights and 3 p.m. for days
• Holiday coverage: 75% of major holidays
• Schedule cycles every 6 weeks
• Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays; additional days can be added to contract end)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months of PCU/stepdown RN experience
• Accepting first-time travelers ready to learn and grow
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong skills in tracheostomy care, cardiac drips, rhythm interpretation, wound care, blood products, and central line management
