Stepdown Nurse (RN) in Springtown, TX

Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for those transitioning from intensive care to less critical levels of monitoring
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient conditions, and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform procedures as required
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with hospital protocols
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during recovery

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and current RN license
• Previous experience working in a stepdown, progressive care, or telemetry unit preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications may be required depending on facility protocols)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner with outstanding communication skills
